About this piece
The Boy or Girl necklace is the gift for a birth from the Motherhood line. A brilliant floats in a glass sphere of 8 millimetres in soft pink, set in white gold and worn on a fine chain. The pink here is not a label but a colour for the day a child came into the world.
The necklace is usually given by the partner, in the first days or weeks after the birth, as thanks and as a memory that can be worn. It rests close to the neck, stays out of reach of small hands, and one day it can be passed on to the child whose arrival it marks.
The glass sphere is made by hand in Austria, in a patented process that encloses the diamond while the glass is formed. The white gold setting is crafted by a goldsmith manufactory in India.
