Kate Pendant

Kate is the piece by which Diamonds in Glass is most often recognised. A brilliant of 0.16 carat lies in a glass sphere of 8 millimetres. The back of the sphere is enclosed by a polished half shell of gold, from which a slender teardrop bail rises. From the front you see the whole round face of the glass and, inside it, the stone, floating.

The glass comes in three colours: brown is warm and deep, white is light and milky, black is graphic and clear. Each colour changes how the diamond shines, because the light carries it from behind. Kate is worn on a fine chain, every day or for an occasion meant to last: a wedding anniversary, a milestone, a gift to yourself.

The glass sphere with the enclosed diamond is made by hand in Austria, following a patented process. The half shell and the bail are crafted by a goldsmith manufactory in India, in 14 or 18 carat white, yellow or rose gold or in platinum. Every pendant comes with its own numbered certificate, insured shipping included.
