About this piece

Vela is the ring with the turquoise glass. A glass sphere of 8 millimetres in a light, opaque aqua carries a brilliant of 0.16 carat that stands against the coloured ground like a drop of water in the light. Around the sphere swings a band with 32 diamonds, 0.176 carat in total, framing the turquoise without drowning it out.

Vela belongs to the statement rings of the house and to the newest pieces of the collection. The colour is unusual for diamond jewellery, and that is exactly where its effect lies: it recalls summer, water and travel, and it stands out without being large. A ring for women who want to wear colour, but not a costume jewellery colour.

The glass sphere is made by hand in Austria, in a patented process. Band and setting are crafted by a goldsmith manufactory in India, in gold. Vela is made to order; ring size and production time are agreed with you in conversation. A numbered certificate and insured shipping are included.

Production & delivery

The glass sphere with the enclosed diamond is made by hand in Austria. The 585 gold setting is made by a goldsmith manufactory in India, the centre of international jewellery making and home to some of the finest goldsmiths in the world. Production takes a few weeks depending on the piece. Shipping is insured and worldwide, with personal handover on request.
