About this piece
Livia is the ring that proposes in the house's photographs. A glass sphere of 8 millimetres with a brilliant of 0.08 carat sits on a band set with 26 diamonds of 0.262 carat in total. Here the pavé is no afterthought: it carries almost as much carat as some solitaires, and the sphere above it is the stone you see from every side.
Livia comes in white, black and brown glass and, as one of only two pieces, in NS119 North Star, a deep blue that shifts in the light. As an alternative to the classic engagement ring, Livia carries the same meaning in a form nobody knows. As a ring for a tenth or twentieth anniversary it is a promise renewed.
The glass sphere is made by hand in Austria, in a patented process. Band and pavé are crafted by a goldsmith manufactory in India, in 14 or 18 carat white, yellow or rose gold or in platinum. Ring sizes 48 to 60. A numbered certificate and insured shipping are included.
