About this piece
Aspasia sets the glass sphere on a band of light. 24 diamonds with 0.076 carat in total run as pavé around half the band, and on top sits the glass sphere of 7 millimetres with a brilliant of 0.07 carat. The arrangement follows a classic engagement ring, except that the stone does not stand in prongs but floats in glass.
That is why Aspasia is often chosen as an alternative to the engagement ring, or as a ring for an anniversary. The glass comes in white, black or pink. Pink glass in rose gold is the most delicate version, white glass in white gold the most classic. The ring can be worn daily; the sphere is closed and protects the stone.
The glass sphere is made by hand in Austria, in a patented process. Band and pavé are crafted by a goldsmith manufactory in India, in 14 or 18 carat white, yellow or rose gold or in platinum. Ring sizes 48 to 60. A numbered certificate and insured shipping are included.
