About this piece

Afrodite is the pendant with the largest glass face in the collection. A glass half dome of 12 millimetres lies in a frame of 53 pavé diamonds with 0.159 carat in total. At the centre floats a brilliant of 0.16 carat, magnified by the curvature until it commands the piece. The pavé frame catches the light at the edge, the glass carries it to the stone.

Afrodite is an evening piece and an occasion piece: for a wedding anniversary, a milestone birthday, a gift that needs no explanation. The glass comes in brown, white or black. Black glass in white gold is the version seen in the house's photographs.

The glass half dome is made by hand in Austria, in a patented process. Frame, pavé and bail are crafted by a goldsmith manufactory in India, in 14 or 18 carat white, yellow or rose gold or in platinum. Every piece is checked individually and delivered with a numbered certificate.

Production & delivery

The glass sphere with the enclosed diamond is made by hand in Austria. The 585 gold setting is made by a goldsmith manufactory in India, the centre of international jewellery making and home to some of the finest goldsmiths in the world. Production takes a few weeks depending on the piece. Shipping is insured and worldwide, with personal handover on request.

Every element is checked for purity, balance and optical effect. Clean the glass with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid hard knocks and aggressive cleaners.
