Some brands are not looking for another product but for a mark of recognition. A detail that runs through a collection and shows at once who it comes from. That is exactly what the element by Diamonds in Glass is made for.
What the signature element is
The element is a real diamond, permanently enclosed in a glass sphere that is made by hand in Austria. The stone remains visible from every perspective, and the curved glass makes it appear larger than its carat weight would suggest. The process behind it is patented.
For a brand this means: a motif that is recognisable and can be carried across different pieces. It fits into an existing handwriting instead of overwriting it.
Who the collaboration is intended for
- Jewellery houses and jewellers who want to make a collection distinguishable.
- Designers and product developers looking for a material with an aura of its own.
- Brands from fashion, eyewear and accessories for whom a detail becomes a signature.
- Interiors, hospitality, yachting and luxury objects where one piece shapes a room.
Two examples: fashion and eyewear
With the fashion designer Tom Rebl a velvet loafer was created into which the element was worked. A shoe became a luxury object, and the collaboration shows that the technique carries far beyond jewellery.
With the Austrian eyewear manufacturer Andy Wolf Eyewear the process was integrated into a spectacle frame for the first time. The glass sphere with the real diamond sits as a discreet detail in the temple.

How a co-creation works
- 1.Alignment: we clarify the brand, the application and the role the element is to play in your collection or object.
- 2.Design: diamond, colour, glass and shape are defined, guided within the canon of Diamonds in Glass so that effect and quality remain assured.
- 3.Build: prototyping, approval and certification follow as a controlled process. Only after your approval does a series go into production.

What is clarified in the conversation
- Origin and quality of diamond, glass and setting and how they are documented.
- The patented process as the basis of your differentiation.
- How the element fits into your collection or object.
- Edition, numbering and certification of every series.
- Capacities, deadlines and what is possible in craft terms.
Which samples and technical documents you need for your internal review, we also define in the first conversation.
Why a patented element
A design detail can be copied. A patented process remains reserved for those allowed to use it. For a brand the element thus becomes a mark of recognition that the market cannot simply adopt.
„The process stays protected. The effect belongs to the brand.“
In brief
- The element: a real diamond in a handmade glass sphere, patented.
- For jewellery, fashion, eyewear, interiors, hospitality and luxury objects.
- Process: alignment, design, build with prototype, approval and certification.
- Every series with edition, numbering and certificate.
